Industrial diesel engines power factory equipment – air compressors, forklifts, aerial lifts, sweepers, pumps, refrigeration units, and standby fire pumps. These engines operate indoors or in semi-enclosed spaces, where emissions directly impact worker health. Regulations: EPA Tier 4 Final, EU Stage V, China Stage IV. The Industrial Diesel Challenge

Indoor operation requires extremely low emissions: CO (<50 ppm PEL), NO₂ (<5 ppm PEL), NH₃ (<25 ppm). Ventilation may be limited. Visible smoke or odors are unacceptable during regeneration. Our systems deliver near-zero emissions with active thermal management, electric regeneration, and fail-safe controls.

Core Component Technologies

Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC)

Converts CO and HC. Reduces CO from 100–500 ppm to <10 ppm. Oxidizes NO to NO₂ for SCR.

Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF)

Traps soot and ash. Electric regeneration preferred – no fuel odor. Active regen <2 min. Serviceable for indoor ash cleaning.

Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR)

Primary NOx removal. Cu-zeolite or vanadia depending on temperature. DEF dosing controlled via NH₃ sensor feedback for zero slip.

Ammonia Slip Catalyst (ASC)

Reduces NH₃ slip to <5 ppm in indoor/limited-ventilation applications. Pt on alumina downstream of SCR.

Electric Pre-Heater / eSCR

Critical for indoor cold starts and low-load operation. Reaches 200°C light-off in <60 s. Battery or grid-powered.
